Its okay to file the 485 at either texas or nebraska. Normally the lawyers file 485 to the same center where your 140 got approved. from.

Greetings,
please advise what steps should be taken if I recieved the NL letter from KCC that I am selected for 2011 DV lottery.

I am in AOS in EB3 category, my H1B already expired, working on EAD.

My case number from DV lottery is very high (29***).
What should I choose - CP or AOS???
Should I fill and return back to KCC both forms - DSP-122 and DS-230 forms??? :confused:

Don't know if it will help anybody since i'm a June filer. I didn't file EAD along with AOS in June, but on July 11th i filed EAD with 485 RN. My check got cashed on the 13th and got the receipt# from the back. The case status says they received the application on 12th. I haven't got the Receipt notice yet though. I did write I-765 on the package.

Hello. I am playing around with making a little app that allows me to draw a polygon shape and then determine how many rectangles can fit inside that shape. The rectangles only have two widths, but can be as long as needed.

It occurred to me that I might somehow be able to have that polygon shape act like a wrap panel and the rectangles inside would self-adjust based on the space provided. Two questions:

1) Is it possible to make a wrap panel with custom borders (not just rectangular)?
2) Is there an equivalent component, to the wrap panel, in Flash? If so, can that component have custom borders?

in order to get the animation to 'stick' you have to toggle that button that says "animate" on the top of the screen. The reason they do it that way is this. If you've already set up an animation, but then find that you need to change something in the basic structure of the item, you can turn off that toggle, edit the item and have it not effect the animation that you set up.

Really disappointing. Senator Schumer says on the one hand that the targeted companies are not violating the law and on the other says they are underpaying their workers - which would be a violation of the law. Which is it? And he disparages the entire staffing industry - an industry that in the US employs far more American citizens than immigrants - by questioning the legitimacy of the business model and complaining that these companies don't make anything. The time spent in H4 does NOT count towards the 6 year H1 time. So in your case the H1 clock starts from Sep 2004.

hI ATTY I am working under an h1b visa right now as of 2011. But i had a previous petitioned by another employer way back 2006. There was an I-140 filed but it was denied and I never heard from my petitioner then. I do have the USCIS copy and case number. Can I look for another employer and atty that could reopen the case?? Please help me. Thanks

I am EB2-India and my priority date (End-April 2006) is current since the beginning of September 2010. My case was transferred from Texas center to Newark, NJ in 2008. I haven't heard anything from the Newark office since my date becoming current and it's over a month now. Is this normal? Please advise.

Parents are here on Visitor Visa, want to travel to Canada via Road (Toronto),
Is the process still the same -
The I-94 gets submitted before they leave US.
New I-94 while entering.
The new I-94 would have the same date of departure as was in the previous I -94 ?
