NVS International--www.nogalesvisaservices.com
The U.S. Consulate in Nogales Mexico has been really efficient in issuing appointments as well as Visa Stampings. You are able to schedule them in one week from the date you apply; the process takes no more than two days. 98% of NVS's Clients in the last month have been in and out on the same day of the appointment with no issues. There have been a few cases where people had to stay one or two extra days for additional proccessing.
If you need any help with anything from: Transportation (From the Airport to Nogales and within Mexico to the U.S. Consulate), Visa Application fee processing (Bank Draft) and Lodging please contact:
NVS International and visit us at: www.nogalesvisaservices.com or e-mail: japujol@nogalesvisaservices.com.
NVS International's staff is fully bilingual (English/Spanish) and all natives of Nogales. They really help make your visit as simple and worry free as possible. The staff makes sure you get to your appointment on time and assists you until you get in and make sure you have no problems until you are back in the USA.

My current H1 expires on Sept 30. My employer is planning to apply for an extension in the first week of April. Can they file my LCA in advance so that they can have an approved LCA by the first week of April? Or, do they have to wait till Apr 1st (6 months before current H1 expiration) to file for the LCA ? I was not able to find information about this specific scenario.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

My sister, as part of submitting documents for her fiance visa application, recently got a birth certificate. However, it doesn't have her name on it. Odd as it sounds, the municipality says that this is common practice. It just has the name of the parents.
Is this acceptable for a fiance visa? Thanks.
Yes, if her parents are sponsoring for his visa :)

When you travel on AP carry both the copies. On the PoE the IO will keep one and give the second to you after it is stamped. You use the returned/stamped Copy for your future travel
When one applies for AP in Multiple entry category they will be given 2 AP dox. lets say if one has used both on travelling like both has stamp of POE can they reuse the same for future travel with in the one year period of validity ?

Hi
I have a couple questions:confused: -
1) Can I file EAD/AP now; I applied 485 on July 3 (no receipt number yet, but application received by USCIS)?
2) What all docs are required for filing EAD & AP? I want to file it myself.

Since I am a canadian citizen, I do not require a visa for US and hence I don't have a H1B visa stamped on my passport.
Since you know this point, I am sure the American Visa Officer working in various consulates, too, would know this. If not, send a copy of the law that says "Canadian citizens do not need Visa to enter US".

Is the email printout of 140 approval enough to attach to 485 app.
I have not received the printed notice and do not want to wait for it.
I want to go ahead with attaching approved email of 140.
Is it ok ?
Thanks

GC is for future job, is your PERM was not suspended, you can continue with the same application.
If you're on H1-B - YES - a transfer is required to work for company A becuase you resigned and left and technically company B owns your H1-B.

IV Core - any thoughts on if we should bring this up in DC rally?
Diversity Lottery ends in FY08. As a baby step, to offset this why dont we ask these numbers - 50,000 to be added to EB visa quota?
I'm sure most senators will be agreeable to this - getting 50K immigrants with skills(in the future) vs 50K immigrants only
Where did you hear that DV is ending in 2008? See the newest travel.state.gov. They say DV 2009 starts in October.
